2014 DOUGLAS COUNTY FESTIVAL OF TREES BENEFITING MEALS ON WHEELS
Anchor Heating & Air Co is proud to participate in the 2014 Douglas County Festival of Trees by donating a “Monopoly-decorated” tree. All the donated Christmas trees will be on display November 3-21 at the Douglas County Courthouse Gallery located on the 3rd floor.
Open to the public and free admission, come out and vote on your favorite tree November 4-18. Beginning November 4, one Christmas tree will be featured on Facebook and the business/entity that entered the tree will be promoted to encourage bids.
Different award categories include:
- Kid’s Choice (Best Children’s Theme)
- Best Tree Topper Display
- Best Decorated
- Most Community-Minded
- Best Hand-Made Ornaments
- Santa’s Favorite (Most Traditional)
- Most Whimsical (Most Non-Traditional)
- Best Use of Lighting
- Best in Show (Best Overall)
Be sure to check back in November 17 through November 21 (ends at noon), a silent auction will be held to bid on the trees and proceeds will benefit Douglas County Meals on Wheels Program.
