During warmer weather when it can get extremely humid (especially in Georgia), dehumidifiers can greatly help improve your air. They help take care of pollutants such as pollen and make it very difficult for mold to grow inside your home. Dehumidifiers also help your home feel cooler, so you do not have to spend more energy in regulating the temperature to suit your comfort needs. During the cold seasons, utilizing humidifiers can help prevent dry skin, rough throats and bloody noses. Other Ultraviolet germicidal lights (UVC) are effective at killing germs and bacteria traveling in your ventilation systems. They are also useful at controlling odors, such as smoke and pet odors, that may be present in your home. Regularly cleaning your home also helps improve your air quality. Vacuuming rugs and carpet and sweeping floors that experience high amounts of foot traffic will greatly reduce dirt and debris and help prevent pollutants and allergens from building up in your home.
